Choirs and Singing Workshops with Fil
Fil leads three community choirs in south Down and offers singing workshops to community groups, festivals and organisations.
Working on the general principles of the Natural Voice Network she creates a supportive space for adults to experience a rich, eclectic range of music, for both the novice and the experienced singer and welcomes each unique voice to create something special in a group setting.
With songs from many traditions around the world, singers have the joy of creating harmony easily and with fun and leave each session buoyed up and smiling. Singing is our birthright - everyone can sing, given the right encouragement and setting.
There is no audition process, it is not necessary to read music or have any training, you just need to be willing to have a go.
Singmarra meets on Tuesday nights at 7pm in An Cuan, Shore Road, Rostrevor.
Accolade Newry meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month in Thomas David Community Hub, Dorans Hill, Newry.
Accolade Banbridge meets on 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month in Unit 7, Boulevard Centre, Banbridge.
