On a walk through the wonderful Marble Arch Caves last week it struck me that the colours beneath the earth were mirroring the world above as we turn slowly from Autumn to Winter. I love this time of year when it feels right to draw inwards as the days draw in and the light fades.
We're taking time off the road for a while, enjoying local music sessions and taking part in seasonal events, something we've not had much chance to do for years. Time for writing and reflection and coming back fresh in the spring.
